Bill SB2255 would place a limit on the amount a landlord may charge as an administrative fee for internal utility billing. Even more important is the Leff Amendment to this bill which would prevent a landlord from evicting a park model owner without cause. (This legislation provide protection for park model owner’s in statute Long Term Space Rental Act which is similar to those currently provided to manufactured home owners under the Mobile Home Landlord Tenant Act.
